The Rev. Dr. Neddy Astudillo, a Venezuelan-American, is an eco-theologian and Presbyterian pastor who coordinates GreenFaith’s outreach to Latin American faith communities and to the US Latino faith community. Neddy earned her Doctor of Ministry in “Greening the Church” from Drew University and co- founded, with her husband, the Angelic Organics Learning Center, a farm-based nonprofit in Northern Illinois, where people connect with food, farming and caring for the earth. She has taught eco-theology courses at seminaries in Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia and the US, served as editor of the Presbyterians for Earth Care newsletter, been published in Working Preacher and Earth and Word: Classic Sermons on Saving the Planet, and is co-author of God’s Earth is Sacred: Essays on Eco-Justice. In 2017, she coordinated GreenFaith’s Convergence in Rio de Janeiro with Latin American multi-faith partners, where 60 emerging faith leaders from 18 Latin American countries and 7 different religious and spiritual traditions participated in a 5-day religious- environmental training program.
Amy is GreenFaith’s Charlotte (NC) Organizer, where she is developing local leaders to launch GreenFaith Circles. Amy served previously as the Director of Education with the Regional AIDS Interfaith Network (Charlotte). She currently serves as a part-time minister with the UU Fellowship of Lake Norman.
Imam Saffet Abid Catovic is an American Muslim of Bosnian-Anglo descent who
left work as a corporate budget director in 1992 to help the people of Bosnia
and Herzegovina survive the genocidal campaign wrought against them. He was a
founding leader of Bosnia-Task Force – USA which worked at the community,
regional and national level to end the genocide, and served at senior levels
in ministries in the Bosnian government during the war and post-Dayton period
including as Minister Counselor at the Bosnian Mission to the UN.
Saffet has spoken to international audiences about Islamic environmental
teachings, and his articles have been published in various Islamic
publications. He is Co-chair and founder of the Green Muslims of New Jersey,
which served as a model for the Islamic Society of North America’s (ISNA) Task
Force on Green Mosques, of which he is a member. He represented ISNA at COP 22
in Marrakech in November 2016 where he announced ISNA’s fossil fuel divestment
commitment, making it the first Muslim organization to divest. He was a
consulting member of the Drafting Committee of the International Islamic
Declaration on Global Climate Change (2015) and is a founding board member of
the Global Muslim Climate Network.

Deb comes to GreenFaith after 20 years as an administrator at Rutgers University and a sabbatical that led to work in the non-profit world. She manages event planning for convergences and retreats, as well as day-to-day operations. Outside of GreenFaith, Deb is involved in environmental justice initiatives through her church, The Reformed Church of Highland Park, NJ. Deb’s other part-time job is logistical coordinator of re-building efforts for communities affected by Superstorm Sandy. In her off-time, Deb is a lover of music (listening and making her own), words (reading and writing her own), spending time outdoors, and traveling to new places to experience new cultures.

Pinaki Dasgupta serves as the Director of GreenFaith India, as well as Coordinator with the Bhumi Project. Pinaki is a certified environmental, safety, and risk management expert who has experience with process engineering, environmental, and sustainability projects across India. His experience spans 15 years in scientific research, policy interventions, capacity building, and project implementation. Pinaki is based in Delhi, India, where he fosters dialogue and collaboration between environmental, scientific, and faith leaders throughout the country.
Nana Firman is GreenFaith’s Muslim Coordinator. An Indonesian, Nana directed WWF - Indonesia’s “Green Reconstruction” efforts during a post-tsunami period and worked for an urban climate change adaptation/mitigation initiative. She co-directs the Islamic Society of North America’s Green Mosque Initiative.

Fletcher is an Episcopal priest and, since 2002, GreenFaith’s Executive Director. Under his leadership, GreenFaith has developed innovative programs linking religious belief and practice to the environment. An award-winning spiritual writer and nationally-recognized preacher on the environment, he has led multi-faith organizing for the 2014 and 2017 Peoples Climate Marches, played a lead role in the faith-based fossil fuel divestment movement, and coordinated the development of GreenFaith’s international work. He is author of GreenFaith – Mobilizing God’s People to Save the Earth.

Paul has been active in faith-based environmentalism for more than 40 years. In 1981, he founded and chaired the Environment Committee at Temple Emeth, in Teaneck, NJ, where he has been a member for 50 years. For eleven years he was the Assistant Regional Director of the New Jersey-West Hudson Valley office of the Union for Reform Judaism, the synagogue coalition of the Reform Jewish Movement. During that time, he introduced the subject of Jewish Environmentalism to regional and national conventions of the Reform Movement. For six years, he was a member of the Commission on Social Action of the Religious Action Center, the social action arm of Reform Judaism. He has taught at Bergen Community College on the religious foundations of environmentalism. An ardent hiker and bicyclist, he believes that each person can make a real difference in preserving this planet, and that we have a duty to raise our voices to elected and appointed leaders to support environmental conservation.
Tosin co-directs the GreenFaith Fellowship Program and is helping support the expanding works of GreenFaith Circles in New Jersey and the development of GreenFaith’s outreach in Africa.
abby mohaupt began as a Co-Director of Green Seminary Initiative in the fall of 2016. She is currently a PhD student in Religion, Culture, and Ecology at Drew Theological School. She previously earned a Master of Divinity and Master of Theology at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago, IL, with emphases in environmental ministry and eco-feminist theology. Before returning to the academy, abby served farm workers and families in Northern California for four years, where she led cultural competency, volunteer, environmental education, and children's programs. She continues to serve the church on the board of the Presbyterian Hunger Program and Fossil Free PCUSA. She divides her time between Northern California and New Jersey. abby is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Maria co-directs the GreenFaith Inspirations social media program. She was a member of the first class of GreenFaith Fellows in 2008 and is based in Southwest Florida where she works with a variety of environmental education programs.
Malik is GreenFaith’s Arkansas Organizer, where he is developing local leaders to launch GreenFaith Circles. His work is focused on uniting social and environmental justice campaigns under the banner of climate justice to eradicate poverty and achieve racial equality in the American South. His is also a GreenFaith Fellow and Toyota TogetherGreen Fellow.
Rev. Tuff is GreenFaith's Black Church Engagement Director. With degrees from Wilberforce University (BA) and Fairleigh Dickinson University (MPA), he served as director of the Paterson Task Force, a community-based weatherization agency, for 15 years. He is an associate pastor at First Bethel Baptist Church in Irvington, NJ.
Rev. Jessica Abell is an ordained Christian minister in the American Baptist Churches, USA. Jessica’s ministry has focused around advocacy for creation, work with young people, and with diverse and vulnerable communities. Jessica works primarily in an interfaith context around issues of environmental justice. As GreenFaith’s Colorado Organizer, Jessica hopes to empower communities of people of faith to live out our call and duty, our moral obligation and joy to be the stewards of creation. Jessica is the Founding Pastor of Living Waters Community Church, Denver.
Martin holds a doctorate in Protestant theology from the University of Strasbourg, France. He chairs the Commission on Ecology and Climate Justice of the French Protestant Federation and speaks at conferences around the country. He is a member of the Commission on Social, Economic and Political Affairs of his church. He served as the Climate Justice Advocacy Officer of the Lutheran World Federation. As such, he took an active part to COP19, COP20 and COP21.
Caroline is based in Germany and coordinates GreenFaiths global mulit-faith initiative on sustainable living. The initiative promotes and amplifies commitments in the areas of energy use, diet and transportation, creates a global community of conscience and promotes practices to drive lifestyle-related reductions of greenhouse gas emissions. Prior to her responsibility with GreenFaith she served as Youth Secretary of The Lutheran World Federation. Since 2012, she was an observer the Conferences of the Parties, the annual meetings of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and has gained expertise and experience on climate change and sustainable development in faith communities at all levels. Caroline holds a Diploma in Religious Education and Community Development and a Certificate of Advanced Studies in International Organizations Management with the University of Geneva, Switzerland.
